The Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce is launching a program called Better Together. The program is designed to make the area even better by working together on service projects and community outreach. The three service days for
2015 will be centered around giving back, beautifying our community and other activities that will promote fellowship with people of diverse backgrounds.
What? The second Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce Better Together event. This project will include giving back to our local military personnel. Volunteers will be stuffing over 200 backpacks with school supplies. All backpacks and supplies will go to Lawrence Army Reserve families. Volunteers will also put together Red Cross comfort kits for disaster relief efforts. If you participated in the April Better Together project make sure to sport your BT t-shirt next week.
