HOPE Church is sponsoring the second in their “Healthy for Life” series with its seminar, “Active Living for Life” with special guests; Terry Zoubul, Jenny Sera and Jennifer Holland.
When Medicare and Social Security were set to begin at age 65 it was to supplement those in the oldest category of life. The average life expectancy at the time was 68 years old so retirement and the social safety net were set to cover our needs for the last few years of life. Today the life expectancy is over 81 years and if you live to be 70 you have a 75% chance of living until you are 90 (women until they are 95).
That means you have a high likelihood of living in retirement for over 25 years. What quality of life will you have? How will you achieve your greatest possible wellness as you age?
Wellness doesn’t mean that you will become a marathon runner, body builder or endurance swimmer, but it does mean that you will care for yourself throughout life so as to achieve optimum health for every age. With a combined lifetime of health, wellness and fitness experience, our speakers will help you navigate toward active living for a lifetime.
Seminar is free but we request your registration so we can know how many expect. Register at:
