  • Board Nominee Bios

    Alan W. Becker, Attorney, Bose McKinney & Evans – Re-election of second term
    Alan Becker is completing his first term on the Board of Directors and currently serves as the Secretary for the Board and a member of the Governmental Affairs and Workforce Development Committee.  He is a partner with the law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, where he advises businesses of all sizes on ownership matters, capital raising and general business issues.  He is also the chair of the Indiana Business Law Survey Commission, which advises the Indiana legislature on business entity laws, and he serves as an adjunct professor of law and volunteers with several other local nonprofit organizations.

    Angie Dunst, Administrator and Chief Nurse Executive, Community Health North  – Re-election of second term

    Angie Dunst has over 20 years in hospital leadership roles.  She brings expertise in leadership, human resources, operations and finance to the GLC Board. She has served on the Board for 2 years as the Chair of the Event committee.


    Scott Maskel, Senior Portfolio Manager, Morgan Stanley  - First term

    Scott Maskel is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley.  Scott has been a member of the Greater Lawrence Chamber since he and his wife moved to Lawrence Township in 2006.  He is very active in and passionate about the Lawrence community, where he continues to reside with his family. Scott has previously served on the GLC board and would be a returning contributor.


    Michael Webster, President/CEO, Freije, First Term

    Michael Webster is the CEO & Chairman of Frēijē Engineered Solutions Co., a company that provides mechanical and plumbing infrastructure services in the Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky region with best in class service technicians and installers.  Mike continually focuses on building a work environment that retains current leaders (all employees) and attracts the best talent.


    Danielle Carter Iddins, Board Secretary, Arts for Lawrence – First term

    Dani Carter Iddins, Board Secretary for Arts for Lawrence, is excited to begin her time as a board member for GLC and is looking forward to bringing her knowledge of marketing and project management to the board. Outside of her work with AFL, she is a Health Coach and Nutritionist for Noom and travels throughout the Midwest as a Women's Motivational Speaker. Dani lives here in Lawrence with her family.


    Vanessa Coles, Head of School, Fortune Academy – First term

    Vanessa Coles has been an Educator and Administrator in Indiana for over 30 years. Her experience in planning, implementing, assessing, and monitoring classroom instruction, curriculum, and educational strategies have allowed her to become an affiliate member of various groups, such as the Orton Gillingham Academy, International Dyslexia Association, the Learning Disabilities Association of America, and the Indiana Reading Association. Experience in Public and Private Education has led to various achievements and awards, such as a professional facilitator's license and Warren Township Teacher of the Year. When Vanessa is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

    Caleb Hill, Small Business Owner, Culver’s – First term
    Caleb Hill is an entrepreneur who lives and works in Lawrence Township. He owns Culver’s and is currently building the Hilton Tru hotel both near the Fort. He brings executive leadership, financial management and legal experience to the GLC board. Active in the community, he is an avid golfer and serves on the Maple Creek Country Club Board.

Lawrence offers a perfect mix of urban and rural life, providing many of the things residents value.

    Since 1984, the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce has served at the intersection of commerce and community. It is in this spirit, that we are proud of our community service initiative -Better Together. This program is designed to make the Greater Lawrence community even better by working together on service projects and community outreach. The four service days for 2019 will be centered around giving back, beautifying our community and other activities that will promote fellowship with our Chamber membership and community.
